What Is Bridge?
Bridge is the pinnacle of partnership card games — a game of bidding, strategy, and teamwork that has captivated players for over a century. Two partnerships compete to win tricks and fulfill contracts. The scoring system is complex (above the line, below the line, game bonuses, slam bonuses), making digital tracking invaluable. PartyPot keeps running tallies across rubbers and sessions, so you never lose track of the score.
How to Play Bridge
Four players form two partnerships, sitting across from each other
Bidding determines the contract — how many tricks one partnership commits to winning
The final bid sets the trump suit (or no-trump) and the number of tricks needed
The declarer plays both their hand and their partner's (dummy) hand
Each trick consists of one card from each player; highest card wins
Fulfilling the contract scores points; failing incurs penalties
A rubber is won by the first partnership to win two games
