TL;DR
The PartyPot Halloween 2026 event runs 30 October to 2 November. Everyone gets a free candy throwable, a Halloween summary card and a Halloween welcome. Finish three Trick-or-Treat quests to unlock the Spider Web throwable, which you keep after the event. Two items are paid: the Haunted Table and the Pumpkin Bowl profile border.
Halloween is one of the busiest game nights of the year, so PartyPot is marking it with an in-app event. Nothing about the money side changes: rooms, buy-ins, Poker Mode and settlement work exactly as before. The event adds things to look at, things to throw, and three short quests that fit into one or two game nights. Here is everything in it, what it costs, and what you keep when the event ends.
What's in the PartyPot Halloween Event?
| Item | What it is | How you get it |
|---|---|---|
| Candy | Throwable that bounces off a player with sparkles | Free for everyone during the event |
| Spider Web | Throwable that drops a web and a swinging spider on someone's screen | Quest reward, kept after the event |
| Halloween summary card | Shareable end-of-game result showing who pays whom | Free |
| Halloween welcome | Short animation when you open the app, plus a decorated home screen | Free |
| Haunted Table | Poker table design the host can share with the whole room | Paid |
| Pumpkin Bowl border | Profile border with your photo inside a carved pumpkin | Paid |
The core app stays free to use. You can host and settle a full Halloween game without buying anything, and the paid items are purely visual: they don't change balances, payouts or settlement.
How Do the Trick-or-Treat Quests Work?
There are three quests. Finish all three before the event ends to unlock the Spider Web throwable:
- Play 2 games. A game counts when it has at least 3 players, runs for at least 15 minutes and has at least 5 transactions.
- Share 1 game summary. Send the Halloween summary card to a group chat.
- Host or join a game with 3 or more players. Any game mode counts: poker, mahjong, blackjack, a Center Pot room or anything else.
Your progress shows on the home screen during the event. A few details explain the rules:
- You don't have to tap End game. Quest 1 counts a game by its activity, because a lot of tables simply close the app when the night is over.
- Test rooms don't count. The 3-player and 15-minute minimums stop a one-person room from farming the reward, so the quests reward real game nights.
- One weekend is enough. Most groups play about once a week, so the quests are designed to be finished in one or two game nights.
What Do the Candy and Spider Web Throwables Do?
Throwables are the playful part of a PartyPot table: you throw something at another player and they see it land on their screen. They never touch anyone's balance.
Candy (free)
During the event, a wrapped candy replaces the tomato. It bounces off the target with a burst of sparkles. Everyone has it from the moment the event starts.
Spider Web (quest reward)
The Spider Web plays out on the screen of the player who gets hit, in about three seconds:
- Splat: a web lands in the top corner of their screen with a spider in it.
- Drop: the spider drops down on its thread.
- Swing: it bounces and swings like a pendulum while the web fades.
Unlike the candy, the Spider Web stays in your throwables after 2 November. It's the one item in this event you earn by playing rather than buy.
What Is the Halloween Summary Card?
When the host taps End game, PartyPot shows a summary of who pays whom. During the event that summary gets a Halloween design: a ghost, a cobweb, and the night's payments, for example:
Game night settled!
Spooky Poker Night · Sat 31 Oct
- Jake → Mei $40
- Sam → Mei $15
- Ana → Leo $25
Biggest winner: Mei (+$55)
Three payments settle a five-player table, worked out by Smart Settlement. One tap sends the card to your group chat with the PartyPot logo, a download link and a QR code. That also completes quest 2. The card is free for everyone.
How Does Sharing the Haunted Table Work?
The Haunted Table is a poker table design: purple felt, an orange rim, a glowing jack-o'-lantern in the middle, with spiders, bats, cobwebs and candy around the edge. The owner can share it with the room. In the table settings, there are two switches:
- Share my skin with the room. When the host turns this on, everyone at the table sees the Haunted Table, at no cost to them.
- Always use my table skin. Owners see their own table in any room, even when someone else is hosting.
Players who don't own it see the table's name and whose it is, with a Get it button that opens the store. One purchase by the host is enough to theme the whole table for a Halloween poker night.
The Pumpkin Bowl Border and the Halloween Welcome
The Pumpkin Bowl is a paid profile border. Your photo sits inside a carved jack-o'-lantern with a jagged rim and candlelight glowing up from inside.
The Halloween welcome is free and plays when you open the app during the event: bats fly out, a jack-o'-lantern glows, and a Happy Halloween greeting appears with falling candy and a reminder about the quests. It plays once a day for about two seconds, and you can tap anywhere to skip it. The home screen stays decorated with a cobweb, bats and your quest progress until 2 November.
