What Is UNO?
Most people play UNO casually, but competitive UNO uses a scoring system: the round winner earns points based on the cards remaining in opponents' hands (number cards = face value, Skip/Reverse/Draw Two = 20, Wild/Wild Draw Four = 50). First player to 500 points wins the match. PartyPot tracks per-round scores and running totals automatically, turning your casual UNO night into a proper competition.
How to Play UNO
Each player starts with 7 cards; the rest form a draw pile
Match the top discard by number, color, or action
Action cards: Skip, Reverse, Draw Two, Wild, Wild Draw Four
Say "UNO!" when you have one card left (penalty for forgetting)
The first player to empty their hand wins the round
Winner scores points based on opponents' remaining cards
First player to reach the target score (default: 500) wins the match
