What Is Capsa Susun?
Capsa Susun (Chinese Poker) is a unique poker variant where each player arranges 13 cards into three hands: a 5-card "back" hand (strongest), a 5-card "middle" hand, and a 3-card "front" hand (weakest). Hands are compared row-by-row against each opponent. Winning more rows than you lose earns points, and special "royalty" bonuses multiply payouts for premium hands. How to Play Capsa Susun
Each player receives 13 cards from a standard deck
Arrange cards into 3 rows: Back (5 cards, strongest), Middle (5 cards), Front (3 cards, weakest)
The back hand MUST be stronger than the middle, and the middle MUST be stronger than the front
Players reveal hands simultaneously and compare row-by-row
Each row won = +1 point, each row lost = -1 point against each opponent
Winning all 3 rows ("scoop") = bonus points
Royalties: bonus points for premium hands (e.g., straight flush, four of a kind)
